Richard has supported the Chess Club for over half a decade including the U of U vs. UVSC 2004 Chess Match, Utah State College Team Tournament 2005 (also Richard's brother Robert helped at these 2 tournaments), 2008, 2009 & 2010 U of U Pan American Chess Teams, and more.

The Annual Duncan Oxley Collegiate Tournament will be taking place on ICC on Sunday, November 6th.
Players will have a chance to win free entry to the 2012 US Amateur Team South Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Feb. 17-19.
